wording may vary, most manufacturers limited warranties
will cover your equipment for a limited time against
defective parts & workmanship.
It's important to understand, that although your equipment
may still be within it's warranty period, the requested
repairs may not be covered by your limited warranty?
IMPROPERLY INSTALLED
EQUIPMENT:
*Equipment must be installed according to manufacturers
guidelines.
*Equipment most be installed in areas that meet minimum
& maximum limits.
*Electrical, water & drains must be installed within
manufacturers guidelines.
MAINTENANCE RELATED ISSUES:
*Dirty, greasy, scaled, clogged water
filters, etc...
IMPROPERLY SIZED EQUIPMENT:
*Equipment is only designed to produce
a certain amount of ice. If the complaint is that
a unit is slow or not making enough ice, and it's
later determined that the unit is running within normal
limits, you will be charged for the service call &
any labor required to test that unit.
PARTS DEEMED DAMAGED, NOT DEFECTIVE:
*Parts or equipment deemed damaged
by bad water, dirt, grease, improper maintenance,
stress, etc.
In accordance with
your manufacturers warranty guidelines.
Reliable Ice Equipment will diagnose, repair and bill
the manufacturer for what we believe to be any warranty
related failures.
All warranty repairs
are subject to final manufacturers approval. If a
claim is later rejected by manufacturer, you the customer,
are responsible for any and all charges.
You, the customer,
are also responsible for any charges, including the
initial service call charge and any labor if after
diagnosing your equipment the repairs are deemed to
be non-warranty related.
Your equipment was
shipped with both a copy of the manufacturers limited
warranty and a repair manual, that guidelined installation
requirements and most importantly, the number one
reason for ice machine failures:
